PIANO INSTRUCTION
Ms. Petrus has been a pianist since Age 3. As a professional singer, she brings a unique understanding of breath and use of body to her instrumental instruction. Juliet has experience preparing pupils for both the ABRSM and Trinity exams, with many students passing with distinction. Lessons focus on proper alignment and position for playing,, sight-reading, musical terminology, and theory and historical reference. Lessons can be taught online, face-to-face at her home studio in West London, or a combination of both.
Juliet is excited to work with students of all ages, with particular interest in working with adults beginning to play, or those returning to playing after some time away. She works with every student's interests and abilities to create engaging lessons that move at each individual's pace, allowing students to reach their desired goals.
